Part of the hugely popular Portable Grand line of digital pianos, Yamaha DGX-670 delivers proven Yamaha piano touch and tone, plus a slew of entertaining features are certain to help you discover – or re-discover – your love of making music.
Have a try at singing while you play using the built-in microphone jack with Yamaha digital vocal effects. Enjoy the Yamaha You Are the Artist library for learning hit songs you’ve always wanted to perform using best-selling sheet music from publishing giant Hal Leonard, or learn just by reading the scrolling notes on the built-in Score Display.
The Yamaha Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard features a weighted action with heavier touch in the low end and lighter touch in the high end, just like the hammers inside an acoustic piano. Great for the aspiring pianist, practicing on the GHS action builds the proper finger technique and strength for when the time comes to perform on an acoustic piano.
The special matte key tops are designed to absorb moisture and remain tactile after extended use without becoming slippery.
New to DGX-670, Adaptive Style technology lets you automatically shift between the Main Style Variations by changing your velocity and number of notes played, while the Unison and Accent function adds a doubled voice to your melody line and musical 'hits' when you accent your notes.
Explore the world of Yamaha music apps for iPad with the optional wireless UD-WL01 USB Wireless LAN Adapter (sold separately). Yamaha apps like Chord Tracker enhance your piano playing experience like never before, helping you practice and perform songs by analyzing audio stored in your smart device and then displaying the chord symbols for you.
Super Articulation Voices intuitively reproduce the natural expressive nuances of non-keyboard instruments, allowing keyboard players to achieve realistic expression. This category of special sounds allows you to access different sonic effects depending upon how you play the keys or use the pedals. Suddenly, breaths, taps, slides and knocks are available to the keyboardist in a real time!
Welcome to your personal Piano Room: DGX-670 provides a dedicated virtual space where you can choose from a variety of pianos and acoustic settings, creating your personalized practice or performance environment. Simply select your desired piano, then choose acoustic spaces from a plain room to a club stage to a concert hall. You can even adjust the position of the virtual piano lid!
CFX Stereo Sampling faithfully reproduces the sound of Yamaha's flagship CFX Full Concert Grand, while Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) allows for vivid and richly-varied expression to reflect the limitless number of factors that create the sound of a concert grand piano.
Smart Chord makes you sound like a pro, even if you're just learning how to play. With a single finger on your left hand, Smart Chord will create entire chords from simple Pop triads to complex jazz 7th and 9th chords. Accompaniment Styles create the rest of your virtual band so you can get straight to playing music.
Simply connect a microphone to the 1/4" microphone input on DGX-670 to sing along while you play and hear your voice with everything mixed perfectly together from the built-in speakers. You can even create and save your own original microphone settings including professional reverb and chorus effects.
Record performances or MIDI songs as uncompressed, CD-quality audio (WAV) to a USB flash drive using the Audio Recorder. From there, you can copy songs to your computer to share over the Internet or transfer to your portable music player. You can also playback uncompressed WAV files stored on a USB flash drive.
Bluetooth audio allows you to connect your music player or smart device wirelessly to DGX-670 so you can listen to and play along with your favorite songs.
